Monday, 9th April was a special day. We met some new friends and we spent some time with them. Doesn´t seem a big deal, does it?
But what made it special was the kind of friends we made and the sort of activities we did. Our new friends are English students of prestigious Dulwich College in London. We hosted them for some time at school and El Diario Montañés came to witness our gathering. Mercedes Vierna greeted them and then we showed round the school. They loved the youngest groups, admired the great decorations in Primary and they even said hello to some students there. Then, we went to Bachillerato classrooms and did some ice breaking activities and listened to the same song in English and Spanish. All of us had the chance to be learners and teachers but above all we had the chance to make friends, speak English and share a lovely time around Santander having some churros and having dinner together.
Good luck for you all, Dulwich students!
